Week 4 - Game Ideas
Game 1
Description:
In a 3D third-person fantasy world, the land is dying for an unknown reason. The player takes the role as the hero, who possesses the power to change into a different veriaty of animals, in order to solve different obstacles they meet. With this power the hero ventures through the dying land, and solves the problem bit by bit.
Audience:
Casual gamers and adventurers, since it's a slow paced game, about clearing obstacles with their power.
Game 2
Description:
Futuristic dungeon game with a top down/isometric camera angle. You have the tools to teleport from platform to platform, solving different types of puzzles to exit one room at a time, until you finally reach the end, treassure, or exit. By going from one platform to another and changing things, different things other places will possibly be affected by your actions.
Audience:
Puzzle gamers mainly, since it's about solving a puzzle to reach the goal of the dungeon.
Game 3
Description:
3D first-person highway racer. You race down the highway trying to avoid slow moving cars in your rust bucket. On the way there'll be obstacles in the sence of other cars following the speed limit, and road work. You have to get as far as possible without crashing, and with limited gas. For each drive you've had, you'll earn some currency, either determined by distance or pick-ups. With this currency you can change the car, or the sceneray/level, to get further on the highway than anyone else!
Audience:
Adolescents, teenagers or young adults, since it can be a chill game to play when there's time, and a little competitive between friends to see who can get the furthest.
